Mentoring Administrators Utilizing the Effective Schools Framework
Mentoring Administrators, built on the Effective Schools Framework (ESF), is a school and district turnaround program for new and veteran administrators.
Grounded in WestEd's Four Domains for Rapid School Improvement, this program develops leaders across all four domains that separate lasting gains from plateaued reform:
Turnaround Leadership - building the urgency, vision, and decision-making capacity to lead rapid, sustainable change.
Talent Development - one-on-one coaching from a Certified Growth Coach Trainer to build the leadership pipeline and coaching capacity that sustains improvement.
Instructional Transformation - embedding research-based instructional strategies (RBIS-certified) that move student outcomes, not just compliance metrics.
Culture Shift - building the staff and student belief systems, routines, and conditions required to sustain gains long after the initial turnaround push.
Led by Dr. Harold L. Wright, a successful school and school district turnaround specialist, RBIS-certified practitioner, and Certified Growth Coach Trainer. Designed for administrators leading schools and districts through accountability pressure, chronic underperformance, or new-leader transition.
